Scott E. Racop began the practice of law in 1993, and established Racop Law Offices, P.C. in 1996. Mr. Racop has extensive trial experience and has tried jury trials in both state and federal courts. Mr. Racop has worked on complex cases involving product liability, business bankruptcies, appellate work, and in criminal defense from A felonies to misdemeanors. He has lectured on the topics of estate planning and end of life advanced directives. Mr. Racop has served clients in the Wabash Valley and Bloomington areas, as well as northern Indiana, Indianapolis, and southern Illinois. He is a graduate of Indiana University School of Law Bloomington (now named Maurer),and Indiana State University. He was born in Logansport, Indiana, and is a graduate of Muncie Burris High School at Ball State University.
Mr. Racop is an avid tennis player and fan, and enjoys backpack camping and skiing. Mr. Racop lives in the Terre Haute area with his wife and has two children, a son at IU and a daughter attending Rose Hulman Institute of Technology.
